A day dedicated to the nature and the fine cusine…
We start with a nice and not so hard trek on Portofino mountain, we reach the “ruta” 300 mt. On the sea level and from here, where in the late One thousand eight hundred was built the famous hotel Kulm, we start our walk.
Between aleppo pine trees, mediterranean holm oak and tipical aromatic plants, we immerse in the regional park of Portofino, one of the oldest that we have in Italy since 1935.
We go through the forest till we reach the terrific south cliff of the mountain. From here the mediterranean maquies leaves the place to the most sparse “gariga” giving us the chance to see an unforgottable panorama.
Walking on the path, we can admire first Genoa from the distance, then the village of Camogli and the beautiful pearl of S. fruttuoso, the smallest burg of the area, where in the winter lives only 3 people, Because of its difficulty in being attained, only by boat or 2 hours trekking!!
Our walk ends in S.Rocco, another tiny and beautiful village placed 200 mt. On the sea level, Or where we started in the morning, where we can taste a piece of tipical “focaccia”
